Managing Spinal Cord injury is a challenge in a rural setting as most sites
do not have a CT or immediate neurosurgical consultation.
The goals are to first recognize potential spinal cord injuries,
prevent further cord injury and finally to expeditiously medivac
these patients to appropriate tertiary care centers.
