This page does not cover all aspects of trauma resuscitation, nor is it a substitute for an ATLS course.
Rather it focuses on some of the general principles of trauma care. 
In many respects the other pages of this web site cover the areas of trauma resuscitation.

While I am a firm believer that every rural doctor should do an ATLS course,
there has been discussion as to whether having to repeat it every 5 years or so is a valuable exercise.
